QUIZNOS, BANDRA.

The ‘Subway’ was happily welcomed to India and we happily fell in love with it and frequently visited every joint we came across.  Now Quiznos is yet another sub outlet that is a welcome change if you are tired of all the regular subs. Located bang opposite National College, it attracts crowd from the suburbs as well. We visited this store on Christmas noon and had our best Christmas gift ever.

We went for one veg and non-veg sub each – Veggie Chipotle and Tandoori Chicken. The best part here is - you get to select the veggies and sauces and the sub that you have ordered is specialized by the patty which is added according to your order. They have a tandoori sauce which is sensational…..it just makes your taste-buds dance in joy. Also the buttermilk ranch sauce brings a fresh change from our regular mayonnaise and mustard. The second thing that we ordered was a Regular Margherita. This was probably a wrong order at a wrong place. The pizza was too greasy, the topping too tangy! And it was difficult completing a mere 6 inch pizza. But then it was lesson worth learning – a subway special joint will serve only good subs, it is wrong to expect specialization in every food item that they serve!

This place is definitely worth a visit especially if you are in the vicinity. And no matter what time you visit, you can always go in and sit and enjoy the ambience of a restaurant at a subway joint.
