LOCO CHINO, CARTER ROAD, BANDRA WEST.

Authentic Mexican food at excellent prices at Mumbai’s favorite hang-out spot = awesomeness! A tini-tiny outlet, Loco Chino hardly seats 8-10 people but serves good food. An excellent location gives it good exposure and lures you to try this outlet at least once. We had quite a feast at this place and were pretty full by the time the meal was done.

The order included: Veg and Chicken Nachos. Both the plates were decent enough with authentic guacamole and refried beans but the sour cream is proper indian version (hung curds) which shows they have taken an easy route. Also the chicken pieces were hardly visible. But the rate at which it is priced, you can definitely say “you can get only so much in this small amount.” The next in the line was Veg Tacos and Big Chicken Burritos. Tacos unfortunately tasted similar to nachos with exactly the same ingredients. The burrito also was okay-ish (nothing to write home about!) For desert we had Churros with Chocolate Sauce which again was okay-ish but for some reason they were dusted with the Indian Garam Masala which made it taste super weird.  All in all this is a good place for snacks but having proper meals here will leave you disappointed and dejected.

One should definitely visit this place once for the excellent prices at which they serve decent Mexican food but do not expect anything major except the ambience which is quite praise-worthy!
